Sarah will be assisting us with check ins, taking classes, and learning more about yoga and the business of yoga all while earning credit at ISU. Please introduce yourself when you see her More about Sarah: Hi! My name is Sarah Black, and I am super excited to be doing my pre internship at Ignite this semester! I quickly fell in love with moving my body and staying active from starting dance at a young age and participating in other sports. I love the mind, body connection you get through doing yoga. In the future, I plan on teaching fitness and yoga classes after graduating from Iowa State with a degree in Kinesiology - Exercise Science. I am excited to learn more about yoga and become a part of the community at Ignite!

Welcome new teacher @anthonydcervone! We are so h Welcome new teacher @anthonydcervone! We are so happy to have you in the Ignite teacher family🧘🏻‍♂️❤️🙏🏼. Anthony's Bio: I was introduced to yoga in 2015 at a hot studio in NJ and quickly realized the benefits of yoga extend far beyond the physical nature of the practice. It was the calmness and clarity I would feel after a challenging practice that would keep me coming back to my mat for many years to come. In 2017, I completed my 200-hour teacher training and began teaching at Connecticut Power Yoga, a Baptiste Yoga affiliate studio. In 2018, I began teaching at a Baptiste inspired studio closer to home, RedTail Power Yoga. I continued to teach until I embarked on a new journey in Iowa, when I started Veterinary School in the fall of 2020. I aspire to teach the kind of class that I want to practice: sweaty, challenging, empowering, and accessible to all no matter where you are in your personal practice. My hope is to share my love of yoga with the Ignite community in my remaining time here in IA!

Happy Thanksgiving to our Ignite Yoga community. Happy Thanksgiving to our Ignite Yoga community. We are forever grateful for all of you. I want to first shout out all of the teachers who put all of their hearts and souls into providing thoughtful and intentional classes that not only challenge us but also change us, making us stronger and better from the inside out. They are so appreciated and loved by me and all who attend classes. Second, I want to thank everyone who remains loyal to our little corner yoga studio and by coming to classes and showing up for yourselves. By doing that you also show up for others. 🥰. Yoga makes us kinder and happier people. The bonds created in our tight space is a metaphor for the close knit crew that we are 🙏🏼. Enjoy your day celebrating with your loved ones.
